    Xbox series X won’t boot due to recent update??


    So I’ve never had this problem until about a week ago, my cousin turned my Xbox on (and I think it started updating) and then turned it off about a minute later (guessing he turned it off mid update) every since then my Xbox doesn’t boot up, it takes a while for the troubleshoot page to come up, power button doesn’t turns Xbox off it just dims the power button. We literally played hours before this happened with no problem. Can’t reset Xbox because when I click reset it does nothing, also offline update freezes at 0% and goes back to “something went wrong”

    Hey Jesse thanks for the reply! Yea it’s frustrating because it’s hard enough to find the Series X available to place in the cart and then to be turned away immediately due to an error makes it worse. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer.

    Yes all other games work just fine. But it seems that just gta won’t work. Ever since I tried to play it on my Xbox series x it has not worked. I don’t have the updated version of gta it is still the normal game but I looked it up and it said you can still play normal gta on Xbox series x.

    How to fix crashing on Sonic Forces on Xbox One played on Series X?

    It’s crashing for me also. Booting back to the Home Screen. I have the physical disc downloaded to the Xbox One X system so it’s not a specific issue to the Series X. This will most likely have to be patched at Microsoft. The base game works only when downloaded to the system offline. The forced update while online causes it not to boot up.
