Xbox Series X won’t boot after update

My Xbox X series just said update an I pressed update console but it won’t update

Yes all other games work just fine. But it seems that just gta won’t work. Ever since I tried to play it on my Xbox series x it has not worked. I don’t have the updated version of gta it is still the normal game but I looked it up and it said you can still play normal gta on Xbox series x.

It’s crashing for me also. Booting back to the Home Screen. I have the physical disc downloaded to the Xbox One X system so it’s not a specific issue to the Series X. This will most likely have to be patched at Microsoft. The base game works only when downloaded to the system offline. The forced update while online causes it not to boot up.

Mine is not working either. I just upgraded from series s to x and modern warfare won’t open. I also uninstalled and reinstalled and it’s still broken. My Xbox elite series 2 is also double tapping on the bumpers after only a month of casual use. LOL this is just not good enough. Companies don’t care about the consumer as much as they should. Point in case the DLI never coming update. An absolute joke.

Have you tried a factory reset and try doing an offline system update ? To me it seems you corrupted the os on the xbox installed to the internal drive. If you interrupted the update. So i suggest doing a fresh system update while offline after a factory reset. Apart from that any change in the boot animation aka the boot logo when you first boot up the xbox. The time it takes to get to the dashboard before and after this happened. That happened to my xbox series s regardless of being in standby and powersaving.
