Xbox series X will not go into sync mode

Hello, I hope the issue has been resolved already but if it has not you can try hard resetting the console by holding down the power button on the console for 10-20 seconds > wait for the console to turn off > plug out the power cable > hold down the xbox button for 10-20 seconds > plugging the power cable back in > turn on the console

If it still won’t work you can try factory resetting but keeping your games and apps. But remember this is a last resort.

But there could be a problem with the console it self and not the software. If the methods metioned above don’t work I would suggest sending it in to a repair center but you should backup your games, apps profile(s) and setting on an external drive if you choose to do this.

However, I would like to ask if power cycling the device worked for you as Defty suggested?

If your sync button is still not working, may I know if your console is enrolled in the Xbox insider program?

Besides that, I think you may find helpful to do a factory reset on your console but keep games and apps. This may help to delete potential system corruptions.

Factory reset:
Open console settings > system > info > reset > choose “keep my games and apps”.

I finally got it fixed I had to just power it off completely and unplug it for like an hour and I pushed all the buttons several times on it just trying to make sure all the power was out of it and I had to unplug my external hard drive so far at this point it is working hopefully it stays that way

Let's try playing the game to the Xbox One first then save it again then go back to your Series console check if it let's you play the game. It seems to be that your saved data is not syncing properly with the Series X console. Also, try turning off HDR.

On your Xbox go to Settings, go to TV and display options.

Set the resolution to 1080

Under Advanced to the right click on video modes

Uncheck Allow 4K and HDR10

Restart the console then start the game.

are you sure this Sync now is available in xbox x??? or is just my xbox x dont have this function
