: Xbox Series X - Wifi Lag & Packet Loss

Oh I am glad to see this isn't just me. Yes, it's very frustrating. Are you having problems only on wireless? Have you tried wired?

For me wireless is extremely poor.

If you go into options during the game and check the latency I will see a constant stream of my normal 40-60ms. However, I will at times see nothing and thus huge lag spikes for brief moments.

Yeah hopefully others see this thread and comment and can get Microsoft's attention. Definitely not an ISP or router issue as like you said never an issue on hardware that is many years old or any other devices in my home.

Has to be something with the wifi adapter and partly the game. I am hoping a firmware fix is something that can solve this otherwise I will need to return my xbox as this issue makes the games unplayable.

Same for me, like I said I contacted the support but they said that it was a recurrent problem at the moment and they are working on it but when I go in the section "know issues" I don't find this problem.

I will wait but if it doesn't work I will return the console because it is not normal. Hopefully we won't come to this option because I was very excited to play on this new console.

I'm glad too, I'm stuck with this problem since I got my console on the 13.

I didn't try with a wire because it is impossible for me and i'm between 40 and 60ms all the time. At the moment the game is just impossible to play because it is lagging to much and the screen freeze for like 4 seconds sometimes. I know the problem doesn't
come from the game because when I play it on my Xbox one it works well. The same with my wifi.

I restart my Xbox, deplug and plug it again, the same with the router, I transfer the game from my external drive to my internal drive, I test my connection like 5 times and try other games. Nothing seems to work, I don't know what to do anymore...

Hi, sorry if I have bad english, I have this problem too. Mw multiplayer is very difficult to play but it's not the only game. When I test the connection on my Xbox series X, it says that everything is perfect. I contacted the support and they said that
some games like modern warfare has this problem and they are working on the problem. I hope that they understood what I meant because it's frustrating not being able to play on my new console.
