Xbox Series X Wifi Issues with Multiplayer games

My new Xbox Series X has issues rubberbanding when playing multiplayer games. Doesn't matter which game or if I'm in a party or not. It's happening in Overwatch, Halo Infinite, PUBG, Back 4 Blood. I've tried resetting everything, the lag doesn't happen on my PS5 or my old day one edition Xbox One.

Testing the connection speeds on the series x, I get 200+ mbps download speeds, 0% Packets Loss, 1480 MTU, 25 ms Latency, and 96% signal strength. I'm on a 5 GHz connect, same as my old xbox and PS5 which works/worked perfectly. My router is not close enough to plug in via ethernet, please help.

i am having very similar issues with my Xbox series x.

Every device on same wifi has same latency of around 16ms but for some reason the xbox is saying 233ms and my MTU is sitting at 1300 which means it wont let me cloud game or play multiplayer

Try to configure your router that way:

Call your internet service provider, and ask them to open the ports described below on your router.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Also ask to disable and then, enable it again the UPnP function and if you have a modem and a router the process has to be done on both devices.

Besides, ask them to put their console's IP in the DMZ zone configuration.

(To find the Xbox One IP address, press the Xbox button to open the dashboard, go to System > Settings > General > Network settings, then select Advanced settings.)

My internet strength is good, low latency, 200 mgb, 10 upload, and my Xbox just disconnects. I refresh the max address and problem persists. I noticed a lot of devices have trouble connecting to a 5ghz connections to the Wi-Fi. The internet companies blame the devices. I never had this much trouble with the 2.4ghz.

This problem is absolutely just an xbox series x problem. I have 2 other xbox consoles hooked to xfinity wifi. I have a one and one x hooked to it with no issues but fpr whatever reason the series x will not load the login page.
