Xbox series x vulnerable to virus or spyware?

I accidentally trusted someone and bought a xbox live digital code from a sketchy site. Didn't think it was sketchy at the time. When I went to apply the code, it said it had already been redeemed. The paranoid part of me started to think if by typing the code they gave me into my xbox, it somehow allowed the site access to my xbox and account. I know that's a reach, but I know nothing about this stuff. Also, I looked up if you think an iphone has spyware and you try to backup and factory reset, it wouldn't matter because the spyware would be in you cloud backup. Can the same apply to xbox cloud? If I factory reset, and try to download all my stuff from the cloud data, could a virus or spyware be in the cloud data? Thanks

Hi,

Let me reassure you, your Xbox can not get a virus. The console's operating system is locked down and can only be updated by official Microsoft updates that have been digitally signed. Xbox Live's cloud service is protected, you can't get a virus from it.

Xbox Live codes are verified by Microsoft when you enter them either into the console itself or via the Xbox website. If a code doesn't work or says it has already been redeemed, you need to contact the retailer directly. Xbox codes can not damage your console or your account.

I have migrated to a Microsoft account but I also play and login though the Minecraft launcher but how will I check for the spyware or a virus?

I think the virus will affect alot of things. I hope don't get on Xbox Series X delays.
