Xbox Series X Under Maintenance

I know that i just cannot get on they have emailed me saying smythes site is down game is under maintenance i thought us that bought it before the early payment day would have priority to get the series x i want one bad

It actually does. I got the Series X this holiday at $349, and the same disc is working perfectly. I have determined that the Xbox One X disc drive is trying to read Cross Gen discs differently than Xbox One discs. The disc drive on the Series X doesn’t have this issue. You might need a new disc or you might need to send your Series X for maintenance.

rumour has it that its an under powered version of the under powered series x for people that wont be able to afford the huge cost of the under powered series x.

I was under the understanding that when you download an Xbox series x game it has different code, so it wouldn't be possible on xbox one x. Which would also be the same for the hard drive. The xbox series x game is apparently different than the same game
for the series x.

To add my two pennies here Daft Badger hit the nail on the head. About 30 minutes ago I redeemed my beta award,checked my ambassador profile and did a round on the enforcement. There was a bit of trouble with the enforcement and initially took a while for
xcl.xbox.com to load but it did. I think maybe it is at least most of the way fixed and we could be seeing a lot of traffic again from the people who weren't able to claim their reward over the weekend.
