    Xbox series X turns itself off when I turn my controller on


    So I have this issue when my controller is off for a certain amount of time and I turn it back on the Xbox shuts itself off and the controller acts like it’s still connected. I turn off the controller and turn it back on but it doesn’t turn the Xbox back on it just blinks like it got disconnected. It’s not much of an issue cause I can just get up and turn it back on but I was just curious if anyone else has run into this. I’m using the Xbox elite controller series 2.

    Not necessarily fifa 21 xbox one version crashes and turns mine off so does fortnite

    I have an xbox series x. When turning the xbox on with a controller the system will turn on then immediately turn off and start again.
    Does this happen if you use the console on/off button?

    Is the console OS and the controller firmware up to date?

    Yes the controller will randomly disconnect by itself. It also turned off when I plugged in one of my headsets.

    The controller I mentioned is the normal xbox series controller.

    Yes I updated the controller and the problem still continues.
