Xbox Series X - Turning off after powering on

Rather than asking because of the possibility of a noisy electrical appliance, I was referring to the possibility of your console being plugged into a faulty power device/appliance like an extension cord, power strip, surge protector, UPS, etc. I apologize for not being specific enough with my first question.

I understand you have tried different monitors and the possibility of this being the problem is unlikely, but have you made sure it's not your screen turning the console off? perhaps through a feature like HDMI CEC?

Well, in the leaving room it is. But on the other room that I tried it was a straight connection to the socket.

Btw, freq noise in a power line can extend as far as the phase wire goes through the house. Thats why we put capacitors on power supplies right? So we filter noisy neighbors from our own power signal . I highly doubt that the issue here is caused by a noisy electrical appliance.

I only have HDMI, power cord and Ethernet cable . And yes, also happens with no Ethernet.

I may try to document every occurrence and sequence of events (how did I power, how many seconds until) so I can have a log of events to make some sense out of it

Please check power settings by going to Settings > General > Power mode & startup and ensure the console isn't set to turn off automatically. Set "Turn off after" to "Don't turn off automatically."

And then power cycle the Xbox. Turn off your Xbox, unplug the power cord, and wait for at least 10 seconds. Plug it back in and power it on. This can help reset the system.

Next is to update the console. Kindly make sure that your Xbox Series X is running the latest system update. Go to Settings > System > Updates and check for updates.
