Xbox series X trouble shooting. It turns on like normal, then after 5 seconds the fan stops...

Please make sure that the power cable is securely connected to both the console and the outlet. Kindly plug the console into a different outlet to rule out power issues.

And then inspect ventilation. Ensure that the console is placed in a well-ventilated area and not overheating.

Next is to perform a hard reset by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts off completely. Unplug the console for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.

try to do basic trouble shooting like unplugging your router for 5 seconds do internet tests or try to nat type tests disconnect your internet form your xbox maybe try to stop the download and restart it.

Are you referring to the click (or pop) noise that happens a few seconds after you turn it on?

If so, that perfectly normal and is actually the fan. If you glance in the top, you will see that fan slightly spins at the same time and then stops for a moment and then starts again.

My one does it to and has been from the start.

So usually when I play on my series s the fan makes a loudish noise....

The Series S, just like the Series X is designed to be quite, in normal gaming (even when play X|S optimised games) the Series S fan should not be audible. It should be pretty much silent.

Have you changed the location of where your console is located? These consoles get warm (hot even), this is normal. So their location is actually more important than hearing the fan spinning.

Hi there, i am using a iPhone 13 max pro ios 16. And my Xbox is a series x. I have done all of the trouble shooting from unplugging my router and Xbox for 5 minutes and all the other trouble shorting steps and still nothing works. The remote play has never worked for me on my device.
