    Xbox series X still shutting down


    Console still shutting down even after the recent insider patches they have brought out to try and fix this issue. Playing for 14 hours straight on gta then console just freezes then shuts down. Is anyone else still having these issues I just want it to be fixed completely seems like it’s been going on for some time now. Any help on this issue would be most appreciated thanks. Would be nice if a insider moderator could give use a straight answer on this and say where working to fix this and that it seems to be an on going issue that is taking a while to resolve and that it’s software related not hardware related

    Maybe Xbox Live is shutting down on the 360 to make way for the series x/series as s?

    Hi,

    Yes I did this the other day and it still shuts down after I quit the game, I have checked all my settings and nothing is set for the series x to shut down when I quit a game.

    How long xbox 360 servers is open?

    The only reason I don’t think Xbox 360 servers will be shut down anytime soon, even after series X comes out, is that you still have games that I’ve just been added to backwards compatibility and those games will continue on when series X comes out. A
    lot of the backwards compatible games have multiplayer elements that need servers so it wouldn’t be a good idea to shut down games you just released.
