Xbox series x standing position risks

I'm pretty positive the One X will be used as a lower spec for the Series X.

While I respect TvK Basket's opinion on having a console laying down compared to standing it truly does not matter whether you keep it standing or laying on its side. While it does run a greater risk of falling over if it is standing that is about it. The
Xbox 360 was designed to be able to be in a standing position or laying down on its side. No adverse affects should occur from the disc reader if it is standing.

This thread seems to mainly be a vent post. Not really a question in the end, though taking the aforementioned actions will reduce your chance of causing damage to your discs.

A normal functioning, well ventilated Xbox One X should not be loud, regardless of what game is being played.

Make sure your console is well ventilated.

Only stand your console up if you have the official stand. Putting the console in a vertical position without the stand will block the ventilation at the bottom of the unit.

It's so frustrating that when talking to Microsoft Support about the warranty they can't assure you that it will get fixed or replace it for the same model and since its a limited edition, the risk of sending it and getting back a normal Xbox Series X is disappointing and a risk no one should take
