Xbox Series X sporadically disconnects controller during gameplay

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your Xbox controller. I understand that it disconnects randomly.

Does this happen whenever you're connected through USB cable or just when connected wirelessly through Bluetooth? Do you have a different controller to test and compare so we can see if the issue is coming from your console or directly from the controller?

As part of our initial troubleshooting, please power cycle your controller: Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds until the controller turns off. Wait a few seconds, and then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on.

Connecting the controller with a USB cable doesn't work,

Controller still disconnects even with a USB cable connected,

I have the same issue with Series X using mouse and keyboard for Call of Duty Vanguard.

I played during the beta and there was no problems with the controller disconnecting but as soon as the game released, the controller disconnects,

I've tried a Xbox One controller Series X controller, with batteries and a USB cable, and the controllers still disconnects.

I would suggest that you try connecting it via USB cable and see if you would encounter the same issue. In addition, do you have other device such as PC where you could connect your controller to test and compare?

? no this is during gameplay i will be using the controller and it randomly disconnects...
