    Xbox series X sounds like a coffee maker


    I noticed a few days ago when my Xbox is off it sounds like a coffee maker brewing, that kinda bubbling hissing sound. Anyone else had something like this? I’m having no performance issues or anything it Seems. Just a weird sound. I’ve had this Xbox since release so it’s one of the older ones

    Hi there!

    Did you hear the sound coming through your console itself? Try to check again if it was your console fan.

    Does it only sound like that when you turn your console off? I believe that it may be a mechanical issue with your fan. You may check your repair options here https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/....

    This happens during and after turning the console off. It also occurs checking for updates.

    Check which Power mode you're using, Shutdown (energy save) or always on.

    If you don't remote play shutdown when not using the console.
