Xbox Series X shutting off upon turning it on

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing unexpected shutdowns in your console. Let’s try to sort this out.

For that purpose, I would like to ask if you tried connecting the console to a different room, or directly to the wall, in case you are using a power surge, UPS or similar device.

Additionally, would I know if you tried the troubleshooting options provided in this related support article?

I had shut off my Series X last night to come back to the issue today, and it turns out that’s all that was needed to resolve the error. Figures turning it off and back on again was the solution

Yes I purchased the console in Florida last year. Yes, I also opened the service request an I was given the response that they will try to fix the issue. If the issue cannot be resolved a replacement will be provided. I already shipped the console to Florida and from there it will be transferred to the nearest UPS delivery location to be delivered to its final location (Microsoft Service Center). So far to ship the console to the US has cost me approximately $100 usd.

Yes, I purchased the console directly from Microsoft and I have 6 months remaining on my warranty.

Did you buy it new? If so, can you take it back to the retailer and have them swap it out for a new one, given that it was only purchased recently? I'm not sure what specific consumer rights you have in Trinidad, but that would be a better option than sending it in to MS.
