    Xbox Series X shutting down randomly?


    My Xbox Series X of 1 year 6 months has been shutting down randomly when I go to play games. Other functions are fine like downloading games but only when I go to play them it sends my xbox in shut down.

    When this happens I cannot turn it back on by clicking the button, I have to turn the switch off at the plug wall then back on to turn the xbox on.

    I had the xbox plugged into a surge protected extension lead but noticed the surge light wasn’t illuminating so moved my plug into a wall socket but the same problem still persists.

    My xbox is out of warranty so do not fancy paying money out until I understand the true issue of my console.

    In this case, uninstalling and reinstalling both games will be the next step.

    I'm having the same issue got the halo series x at the end of november had no issues until a few weeks back when I decided to pick borderlands 3 up to play with my nephew (already own on ps4 but wanted to play online with him) after playing for half an hour the console shut itself down it was fine playing solo but now it's just happened in tiny Tina's wonderlands playing solo which sucks because the game was $150nzd and I cant play it
