    Xbox series X shutting down mid game and Xbox power button flashing


    Last night while playing xbox, about 40 Min into a game my xbox screen looks as if I disconnected from a game and then my screen went black and my xbox began to flash. I tried to turn back on my xbox but nothing happened so I unplugged it and tried multiple different outlets only to recieve the same issue after 30-40 min. I,ve had this Xbox since Nov and have yet to move it and until this time its never had a single issue. Now apparently I just cant play it. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hi,

    If the Xbox power button on the console isn't flashing then you should fully shut down the console by holding the power button down until the unit goes off. Wait about 10 seconds, power back on and try syncing again.

    Mine did the same thing. It wouldn't sync because the power button wasn't flashing.

    Can you try performing a power cycle on your Xbox?

    To do this:

    For Series X|S

    - Open Settings on Xbox.

    - Select the General tab.

    - Click on Power Options.

    - Under the “Options” section, click the “Shutdown now” option.

    - Click the “Shut down” button.

    For Xbox One

    Go to the Home screen.

    Press the Menu button on the controller.

    Select Settings.

    Go to Sleep Mode & Start-Up

    Select Turn Off/ Full Shut Down.

    Once done, power up the console and see if the issue continues.
