Xbox Series X shows up as an old Xbox One on the warranty website

Did you try to remove the console from the account and re-register with your Xbox Series X serial number?

That's odd. As I am a member of the community I cannot make any changes to your account or device.

But that doesn't take away your right to ask for the device warranty if you need it, I just recommend that you keep the purchase receipt.

Yup serial number and everything is correct it's a bug or something. A quick Google search will show you a bunch of people having the same issue

Yep mine is too and the first day I had it, it showed an Xbox One icon. At least now it shows a Series X icon.

Someone else I know said theirs shows up as Xbox One also but has a Series X icon.

Everywhere (including all games even series x games show the new gamertag but in parties/chat, on the homescreen, in the xbox app, and in the system menus show the old one.
