Xbox Series X showing just a green screen when turned on

I’ve had my Series X for nearly 2 years, never had any major problems with it. Turned it on this morning and was greeted with a solid Xbox Green screen. Turned it off, reset it, unplugged everything, did the whole shebang of options and it changed nothing. Looked it up online, found a thread on this support page where a guy had the same issue, steps were given by a member of support staff so I tried those. Did it 3 times, still nothing, the guy in the thread had the same thing so he left it off without power for an hour and then it worked so currently trying that. If any updated methods now exist, that’d be great ‘cause if this doesn’t work I have no idea what to do short of buying a whole new set up to change everything

I'm sorry to intervene to help with your request and confirm that I wouldn't know what else to advise, but it seemed right not to leave your question unanswered. Unfortunately, not being able to access the console using your controller, I don't know of any other alternative solutions to those you've mentioned. I believe you'll have to contact technical support.

Anyway there are many knowledgeable users active on the forum and I hope that someone else can offer further insight on your issue.

There is no error code. In the settings, Instant-On is selected and turned on, but when I turn the xbox off, it just doesnt turn back on like its supposed to. Every time, I get the start up screen that shows the One X 4K chip, the green xbox screen, then
dashboard. Also, I always have to hit the button on the console, I cant turn it on with a controller.

Usually this isn't a console issue, mostly a Tv or HDMI issue, try a different Tv to corroborate or lower video settings, you can also try using a different HDMI cable

Sometimes this works

Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's and TV power and HDMI cable. Wait 30 seconds.

Plug the console and Tv power and HDMI cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox

Hi xbox turns on but no signal on screen. Powersupply shows green and console shows green as well. Controller fails to.connect to.console

Microsoft haven't said it is. I believe the green Xbox One startup screen will stay, and the Xbox Series X/S will get the new Xbox boot up screen.
