Xbox Series X short freezes

Hi,

This has only started over the last couple of days it would seem and originally i thought it was just lag on Fifa but whenever i am playing online my game will crash for a few seconds and then resume but its happening constantly maybe every couple of minutes if not sooner. Obviously on fifa i could be through on goal amd then it freezes and returns with my player having been tackled and on COD i could see someone and begin shooting and it freezes and when it returns the person had moved out of my shot and killed me. My broadband is good and it has only started over the last couple if days.

Ive tried resetting the console and now im attempting to redownoad a game to see if it stops.

Anyone else getting this or have an idea how to fix?

The crashing or freezing of a certain game/apps is generally related to the network which is why I will provide you with the official link to all the troubleshooting steps that can help sort this out for you. Before going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned on the link I was referring to, I would like you to go through the following steps to clear your Mac address and perform a quick power cycle:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox :

Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.

I'm sorry. I am a bit confused by your question. I am using the Xbox App to stream from my Xbox Series X through the Xbox App to my PC using the function in the App that I have circled here.

I've done this without issue with an Xbox One, with the old Console Companion App, and for a short time with the Xbox Series X before the freezing issues began.

As some additional information, I use my monitor both for my PC and for my Series X so both machines are plugged into the monitor. Could the freezing issues be caused by using a monitor hooked up to my PC to stream the Series X but the Series X is also hooked up to the monitor already?

I have a series x and only on call of duty this is happening but its not just the game freezing or crashing its making my xbox freeze and bug out
