Discus and support Xbox series X|S update for games is not working in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I have Xbox series S whenever i try to download a next gen game from the game pass it give me the Xbox one version not the next gen version, doesn’t...     Xbox series X|S update for games is not working


    I have Xbox series S whenever i try to download a next gen game from the game pass it give me the Xbox one version not the next gen version, doesn’t even give me the option to update it, for example fifa on series x|s should be around 50 GB, but when I download it from my Xbox it’s only 35 and without next generation update.

    Xbox one s isn’t compatible with series s games

    Depending on what the game is, if what you bought is for the Series S/X then it will only work on the Series S/X. The One was released before the Series S/X. One games will work on the Series S/X, but not always vice versa.

    But xbox one games works on series x .

    The Series S/X version will only work on the Xbox Series S/X, not the Xbox One. You would need the Xbox One version of the game.

    The Series X version of the game will also work on a Series S. Are you sure you have a Series S and not a One S? The Series S/X version will not work on a One.

    They released that game as a One version and as a Series S/X version. The Series S/X version will only work on a Series S/X.
