    Xbox Series X remote play not working on PC


    I recently purchased and set up my Xbox series X. I'm trying to set up remote play to play on my PC. I have enabled remote play on my Xbox and made sure I have green check marks next to all the requirements including the sleep power setting. When I launch the remote play from my pc, it attempts to connect but eventually says there was an error then my Xbox says remote play has ended. I even cleared the alternate MAC and rebooted the Xbox, but no luck. When I launch remote play on my Android, it works immediately. Any advice?

    Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

    Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

    Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming
    Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

    They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

    I just tried the xcloud service directly from my series s and it worked absolutely flawless.

    Now I am even more confused than before.

    Why can I play cloud games directly from my Xbox in an astounding quality but it is not possible to remote play from Xbox to pc/ipad.

    But what confuses me even more is that it works perfectly with ps remote play.

    Just tested steam remote play from the PC to the iPad and that also worked wonderfully.

    Maybe it's an general problem with the series s/x consoles?

    Hello jcleigh, just to make clear what this is about, are you trying to stream from Xbox to PC on the same network, are you trying to remotely play xbox through your mobile phone or are you trying to play Xcloud?
    The OP is trying to use Remote Play between their PC and their Series X using the PC Xbox App:

    They have tried to use remote play with their Android Device and it worked fine

    If you have a series x then you can remote play on your pc as long as your console is on as long as the games are installed on the console
