Xbox series x rattling

I've had my xbox for about six months now, and well it never used to make a rattle, I've never really moved it or knocked it, however after not play with it for about 2 months, when the fan started to kick in it began to make a very faint clicking sound. This only happened at higher fan speeds. I am pretty sure the fan is just scraping against a cable or wire, but I was wondering will this rattling continue or will it get better? and will it effect my Xbox's performance? I live in quite an extreme environment as-well, in the winter it gets pretty cold and in the summer it gets very hot not that my home is too cold or hot but could this affect the plastic, maybe expanding it or something?

sounds like either a piece of plastic or a rogue screw, called rushed manufacturing, i would return for a replacement.

If the console rattling noise gets louder or you're having technical issues upon navigating through the console dashboard/during in-game you may try to contact the retailer where you have purchased your console first for possible replacement/refund depending on their policy.

The solution I was looking at was replacing with an Xbox one X so i'm not too concerned with warranty voiding. The sound is definitely not just startup turbo fan sounds, it is a concerning rattle, this is why I suspected an obstruction.
