Xbox Series X random shutdown during Forza Horizon 5

I'm experiencing an issue with my Xbox Series X where it randomly shuts down while playing Forza Horizon 5. This has been happening consistently over the past few weeks, typically about 20-30 minutes into gameplay. I've tried basic troubleshooting steps such as ensuring proper ventilation and checking for any system updates, but the problem persists. The shutdown happens without warning and the console doesn't feel hot to the touch, which makes me think it's not an overheating issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem with Forza Horizon 5, or have any suggestions on what I could try next? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    :)

Hi there! This is Virginia O.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Xbox crashing when playing Forza Horizon 5.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please do the power cycle. Press and hold the power button on the console until it turns off.

Unplug the power cord and wait for a few minutes.

Plug the power cord back in and turn on the console.

And then avoid quick resume. Do not use the Quick Resume feature for Forza Horizon 5. Because some users have reported that this feature can cause crashes.

Next is to check for game updates. Kindly make sure that Forza Horizon 5 is updated to its latest version.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps, please uninstall and then reinstall the game in order for the corrupted files will be deleted from the game.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

flickering at bottom of screen on new game pass 4 K games (Forza Horizon 5 & Halo Infinite)

Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.

I have a PXN V9 Steering + Shifter + Peddle combo and it states for XBox X/S series. I cannot get the vibrating function to work on the wheel.

    Hi Fernando,

I am having same issue. Xbox series x, no vibration with any driving game I have tried so far. Forza 6, Forza Horizon 5, Dirt 4
