    Xbox Series X - Projector power control


    My xbox one was connected through an AV receiver to a projector. I was able to have the xbox turn the projector on/off. However, dknt seem to be able to get the projector to do the same with the series x, and there arent as many many options in the power
    menu. Any ideas, or will this have to be something that MS will need to include in future updates? I'm pretty lazy and cant be bothered reaching up to push the projector power button haha

    XBox not turning off Projector

    Hi, I'm no expert with projectors, I did take a look for the remote codes for that projector so you could manually enter the remote code on the Xbox but didn't have much luck, however if you go into
    settings-display-messages on the projector and turn messages off does that then stop that second power button request message to power off the projector and then allow the Xbox to power the projector off ?
    Does the porjector have an auto shutdown after x amount of time with no signal

    I am shutting it off at the console holding down power then turn off. When I hold the power button to shut it off it doesn't seem to send any power of signals to the projector. I have tried both power modes and neither made any difference.

    Panasonic Projector (Xbox One)

    I have the same projector and I use the 12V trigger from my amp to control the projector power state. When the amp turns on, the projector turns on... The kinect is bypassed entirely. It's an extra cable to run, but really simple and effective.
