    So lately my Xbox series X has been behaving very strange....when I go to turn it off, the light continues to blink and won't power down. I resort to resetting it by holding the power button for 10secs but when I power it back up it tends to either struggle to sign in or it signs in but it seems I'm offline as there is no store app no gamepass app etc only my games show....so I have to reset again and again and again before it's sorted out. It's been happening alot and often when there is a console update...I had a similar issue with my Xbox one s to.

    Now it's well ventilated and and hot at all. I cleaned the vents/fan etc often.

    I'm getting sick and tired of this as I never seem to get anywhere with Microsoft helping me...I keep getting bots

    The light can blink for several minutes after you hit power off, it’s doing various housekeeping tasks and there’s nothing to be concerned about

    Hi Devils, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Since you have already performed a powercycle on your console the next option will be resetting the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Xbox Series X power button blinks rapidly when I try to power it on from controller and then it doesn't power on.

    The rapid flashing of the power button on the Xbox Series X indicates that there may be an issue with the console's power supply or the internal hardware.
