Xbox series X power up issues. Light turns on but xbox does not power up

Hi njal blue ,id like to try a factory reset but it wont power on the power wire lights up orange till i plug in the xbox the the light turns white,then turns off x box never turns on. Thank you for your help.

You say your XBox turns on, but what else happens?

Does the Xbox make any noise? (Does the fans inside spin up?)

Does the lights around the power button light up in any particular way and/or color?

Does the power adapter (that is the big rectangular thing in the middle of your power cable) light up in any other color than green?

Does the controller light up around the XBox-button when you turn the XBox on with it?

If so, do all 4 lights on the controller blink for a brief period after which only 1 stays lit, or do they all blink continuously?

Have you checked to make sure that all cables are connected and firmly in place?

Is the Xbox turning on? Or is it not powering up at all? I myself have an Elite, and I've never heard the chirping sound, but from your post, I can't tell if the Xbox is actually powering up. If the Xbox turns on, check the light on the power supply and
it should be green. When the Xbox is powered down, the power supply light should be yellow. If the power supply light is red, then that would indicate a bad power supply.
