    Xbox series x pad disconnecting issues


    My xbox series x pad has recently started disconnecting from the console but only when I am in a party with other players. I have tried 3 different pads, one of them an old xbox one x pad. They are all updated. I have tried plugging them in, removing the battery, re-syncing them and nothing helps. I cannot play online with friends and family at the moment. I'm not sure why this is suddenly an issue. Its been going on for around 3 weeks now. Hoping someone can help, but having looked at the other threads I'm not feeling hopeful.

    Hi,

    Yes it should take you to a screen that shows your controller and say configure underneath.

    Hi,

    We can also try a controller firmware update to see if that fixes the problem first if you experience this on multiple controllers it could be an issue with it not being up to date.

    Its happened on a couple of controllers. The one that came with the series x and an older xbox one pad. Ill look into the warranty.

    I have looked for updates for controllers on the xbox, through the settings and it said there were no new updates. Is that the same thing?
