    Xbox Series X or S recording issue.


    Okay so I've done my fair bit of research it seems only a handful of people have but they only have the Xbox series S or X. There's a recording issue with your game system and none of the people who I've talked to know how to fix it, truly it saddens me that the people who are in the company don't even know what's wrong with their game systems let alone the newer ones. I've tried to call you guys about it, I've contacted roblox about it and neither of you know what's wrong. Like someone before me I was completely fine while recording something on my Xbox one original, now that I've got a Xbox Series X it doesn't work. Xbox workers need to figure this out, truly I love the console to my hearts content it was my very first console, but I am deeply disappointed that I can't even record fond memories that me and my friends make because of a simply glitch. Every time I try and record something nothing ever pops up saying that I've recorded something nor is it there, I've tried a factory reset, updating the console, contacting roblox, and everything alike but nothing works. This is all just draining and irritating but I'm trying to work through like you guys.

    I cannot record what happened on roblox on my Xbox Series X

    I have hot down an xbox one and loaded into roblox and it records perfectly fine so its an issue with the series x. i dont know about series s or other variants of the xbox one but there is still no fix so far

    Xbox series X has no in game sound but has sound on dashboard and everywhere else

    3. ONLY the Xbox-Series X has this issue, No other, including the Series S which is the “little brother” of the Series X

    My Xbox game clips are lagging

    On my Xbox Series S i've noticed that setting the output to 1080p and also recording in 1080p seems to solve the issue... but this also means I cannot output HDR. It might be a conversion issue. Just got my Series X (that I ordered in March), but have not had time to see if there are any issues yet. I will definitely not run it at 1080p SDR just to get clips. Will try recording both in 4K HDR and 1080p SDR to see if there's any problem.

    Try recording directly to the Xbox Series X internal SSD, to see if the same issue happens, please.

    I originally purchased Dead Rising Off the Record in 2012. It is not showing up in my owned games.

    Dead Rising 2 off the Record was released for the Xbox 360 back in 2012, and is not backward compatible on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S. That is why it will not show in your game library. The page you linked to was for the Xbox One version of the game which was released in 2016. If you want to play the game on the Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S, then you will need to purchase the Xbox One version of the game.
