Xbox Series X not working properly

I got my series X a couple weeks ago and it worked fine for the first week, but then it started having a major issue. The connection to Xbox live would drop, controllers would lose connection, and it would stop reading my external hard drive all at the same time. A wired controller still worked to navigate the menus and when I went to check my wifi status, it couldn’t detect any networks. I hard reset the console, which fixed the problem temporarily, but after 10 minutes of playing any game, the problem reoccurs. How do I fix this?

    :)

I can't find one designed for series x controller. They are all for xbox one controller and don't fit series x controller properly.

Does a 144hz monitor still work on the Xbox Series X will it detect?

Hi, Casper. My name is Ron, I'm an independent advisor. I will be more than happy to help you.

The 144 Hz monitor should work fine with an Xbox Series X console. Make sure you set the refresh rate properly in the Xbox Series X settings.

Please access Troubleshoot your Xbox One network connection | Xbox Support since the console is unable to detect or connect to your home network. One more thing to check if the console is updated, if not please check this link About system updates on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One | Xbox Support

Regarding the controller I recommend checking this link: Troubleshoot issues with an Xbox Wireless Controller | Xbox Support

If the issue still persists, it would be best to submit a repair order using this link Getting your Xbox device serviced | Xbox Support

I think I’m going to have to get a replacement since the fixes suggested are for individual symptoms not the problem itself.
