    Xbox Series X not controlling volume on LG CX TV


    I have the settings in both the tv and the xbox set correctly. It worked for an hour and now thw two only tutn eachktger on or off, but no scrollinng wity the TV remote (magic remote) or the xbox media controller. Wirked great worh one x. Thanks for any

    Thx for reply, i will try a few things, i have since read, to turn on HGIG on my LG CX TV, then do the hdr calibration on the xbox series x.

    I figured it out just in case if anyone has this issue with any LG CX and maybe GX model. If your Xbox is saying Dolby Vision is not supported on your CX. Go into the settings and Turn off AMD Freesync in the TV settings. This setting comes turned
    on by default and make the XBOX say your TV does not support Dolby Vision.
    I came here looking for an answer to this, but it can’t be to turn off AMD Freesync. Thats a headline feature of using the CX with a XBox One S or X (or the series X coming out).

    I've been having the exactl same issue for months series x and lg cx , yet have no issues with my ps5 on the same TV , someone needs to patch something somewhere I had no issues with my xbox one x either , I also get an invalid format screen a lot when using the xbox TV and movie app its all unacceptable and annoying.

    Yeah I don't know if Microsoft is aware of this at all. Half of year just pass till season 1 of caldera on warzone ale still no answer from nobody. It's really annoying I've bought LG CX TV and series x mostly to play Warzone on TV with 120fps but now I do play Xbox one version of the game. How much longer me ale milion other players have to wait.
