Xbox series X not allowing mulltiplayer on non live account

Hi, I have two xbox accounts one which has ultimate and one that is just an xbox account.

When trying to play COD Black Ops I or II in Local Split Screen I am unable to.

I loaded both accounts on to the series x but when I go into multiplayer to play split screen local with my live account and try to load the other it does not show as an option and only gives me the option to play with another live account which is my partners. (My xbox has 4 accounts on it and only two are live).

This was not an issue on the 360 and we never used the xboxone for the game. I cant possibly imagine that MS would expect me to buy more than 2 Ultimate memberships to play with my family of four. Anyone else seen this issue or know how to fix it?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Please make sure that the account where the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is set as Home Xbox in that way all of the accounts that will use the Xbox Series X will be able to take advantage of the subscription.

1. Sign in to the account where the subscription is active.

2. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

3. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Personalization, and then select My home Xbox.

4. Check to Make This as My Home Xbox.

Elaborating slightly: None of our family accounts on the same xbox aside from mine have xbox live gold (ultimate in my case). Previously on xbox one x, for instance, my wifes xbox account, she would sign into MWF3 360, go to live and join games. Now on
xbox series X, same exact steps, it throws the error. You could always play under other accounts as long as one account was a live paid account (360 or regular xbox one x titles), now it only works for one x or one x series x titles.

im hobo bob i forgot i was signed in to his account but it cant be a scratch cause ive tried 2 mulltiplayer bf3 discs and a campaign one and none have worked.

So the old console (xbox1s) would be the home account with the xbox live account log in and the new xbox series x would have access to the live?

Should be noted non xbox rated nvme drives only can be used for BC and xbox one titlew not series x
