Xbox Series X - No Power and Customer Support Issues

Hi there,

Hope you are well, I am having a problem with me Xbox Series X console.

It was working fine as of the 3/1/22, but I came to switch it on yesterday and the console will not power on. When I press the power switch the console beeps and briefly flashes, but then powers down immediately makes a slight whirring noise as it cuts off.

I have tried all the support guidence, power cycled the machine, tried an alternative series x power cable to no avail.

The console has had no physical damage, is on a well ventilated entertainment unit, and there has been no power issues in my home.

I have tried reaching out through the Xbox support channels but receive errors at every step. The first image being trying to book it through the order service (the error appears at the address step) the second when trying to book a call from an agent. See screenshots attached.

If you could please advise the steps to get this resolved I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello Dave, you are plugging the Xbox directly into the electrical outlet or it is plugged into some kind of stabilizer if you are trying to plug it directly into the outlet.

About the Xbox Support, this has been an issue since yesterday and I'll guess it is been worked on, I'll suggest you try again after a few hours and also try using multiple browsers as well.

Well, if you have tried different machines in different locations, then I doubt a DNS flush will be helpful...but, as I said, no harm in trying.

You aren't the first person to have an issue like this but, offhand, I have no clue what the answer is

Thank you for the guidance, I'm hoping this is picked up by a relevant Microsoft employee - I cannot reach anyone at present through any channel!

No problem...it's easy to overlook things like that when you are preoccupied.

As to the issue, have you tried using another browser? If you have been using Edge, then try Chome

Another thing to try is open up a Command Prompt (Windows icon bottom left of screen, scroll down to Windows System, click on it then click command prompt) and type the following:

ipconfig /flushdns

This is like your computer's version of deleting the cache in a browser...might not do anything but no harm in trying it

Only other suggestion I have is to try accessing it from another location such as a friend's house, family member, even a neighbour's...sometimes another location can work

I would highly recommend editing your second screenshot so you are not advertising you Mobile Phone number to the internet.
