  1. Xbox series x needs to reset internal power supply every time it turns off

    Hello,

My series X was repaired for the 3rd straight time and I just got it back. Now it’s playable, But every time I shut the console off, it will not turn on, main power button won’t do anything, controller will just blink.

The only way I can turn it on again is if I reset the internal power supply by unplugging the power cord for 10 seconds.

I’d rather not have to do that every time I wanna turn the console on. Is there something wrong? Thank you.

    :)

Xbox series x needs to reset internal power supply every time it turns off

Hi, Jeremy my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

I understand your frustration with having to reset the internal power supply every time you turn on your Xbox Series X. It's certainly not a normal behavior, and it's worth addressing before any further issues arise. Here are several troubleshooting steps you can try:

    Power Cycle:

Completely unplug the power cord from the console and the wall outlet for at least 30 seconds. This helps to clear any residual power in the system.
Plug everything back in and try turning on the console normally.

    Check Power Outlet:

Use a different power outlet to rule out any issues with the current outlet.
Avoid using extension cords or power strips, as they can sometimes interfere with power delivery.

    Inspect Power Cord:

Examine the power cord for any damage or fraying. If it appears worn, try using a different compatible power cord.

    Update Console:

Ensure your Xbox Series X is running the latest system software. Go to Settings > System > Updates to check for updates.

    Factory Reset:

If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset. This will erase all data and settings, so back up your games and data beforehand. To reset:

Go to Settings > System > Console info.
Select Reset console and follow the on-screen instructions.

I hope this helps! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or need additional clarification.

I left my room and left my Xbox running because I only left for about 1 minute. Whenever I came back my Xbox shut itself off and it won't turn back on

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

Unplug the power cord from the console.

    Wait 10 seconds.

Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button  on the front of the console.

Also, was there any power outage that you know of when you left?
