    Xbox Series X "need controller to play this game"


    Hi, recently I've noticed that some games ask me to confirm i have connected controller despite having it connected all the time. Pop up screen comes up for example when i lunch Scorn. I've never connected keyboard or mouse to console or changed input device.

    It looks like a bug.

    External SSD on Xbox Series X?

    The games on the SSD will run fine on it. You won't need to move them to the Xbox Series X storage to play them. Only the Xbox Series X games & games optimized for Series X will need to be played on the consoles own storage.

    If you want to play PC games then you need to play them on your PC. If your PC isn't good enough then you'll need to buy one that is. You can't play PC games on a Series X.

    Both my self assembled PC gaming tower and my Series X are connected to my new LG C2 OLED. I use either my Xbox Series X controller or my 8bitdo Pro+ for most single player PC games. You're not restricted to keyboard and mouse for PC games for the most part.

    Hi yes, with my XBOX ONE controller all is ok. When i use my XBOX SERIES X controller with cable, it's seem to be ok too.

    It's really when i play with wireless on XBOX SERIES X controller....

    Yes you will be able to play all Xbox one games and all games that are on backward compatibility list when the Series X releases. Also will be able to use your Xbox one controllers if you wanted to. I know I will still be using my Elite controller ....
    So excited for Series X...
