XBox Series X multiplayer lag

Hello, I was able to isolate the issues to a mesh wi-fi extender that is causing packet delays/loss. I'll be contacting my ISP who provides the equipment. But disconnecting it has solved the problem. Thank you for the assistance troubleshooting!

Thank you for the response and the suggestions. I tried clearing the cache, and changed the DNS server. Unfortunately, with the sports games it is still lagging badly (every second or so it glitches). I tried Fortnite, and that seems to work fine. So, not sure why the Madden and NBA 2K are having this lag. I did check the network connection test, and it is now at 1% packet loss. And the multiplayer connection test still says it is fine with no issues.

Appreciate any other thoughts you or anyone else have.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your internet in multiplayer mode, with the intention of helping you I did some searches on the internet and found two possible solutions to this problem, I understand that you have already tried to perform some steps in order to solve the problem but try these.

Try clearing your console cache by following the steps below:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it turns off completely.
2. Unplug the power cord from the console. Wait 10 seconds.
Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

If the problem persists, try changing the DNS on your console.

1. Go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings
2. Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222
3. Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220
4. Reset the console completely
To hard reset, Press the Xbox button for 10 to 15 seconds until the console turns off. Unplug it from the wall for 3 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.

I'm glad to know that at least Fortnite has been solved a little, I would like you to try uninstalling one of the two games where the problem persists and then reinstalling them to see if the problem disappears or if any persist.
