    Xbox Series X most of my games have started glitching and crashing simultaneously


    Immediately after my homescreen was updated to the new one (im not sure if that has anything to do with this) most of my games stopped working simultaneously. RDR2, No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk, and Forza 5 either crash instantly when I start them or when loading into the game (they are all unplayable). This all happened on the same day. 2 other games (Elden Ring and Skyrim) had weird visual glitches but ran fine after that. GTA5 launched and ran fine, then started having visual glitches and crashed and is now unplayable. So 90% of my games have become unplayable all at once. I have tried restarting, factory resetting, reinstalling 2 games, and playing on a different account. Nothing has worked. Please help me with this issue as I haven't heard of anyone else experiencing this online. Thanks!

    Formatting would be deleting everything on your console, leaving it in factory configuration.

    My name is Ezequiel I'm an Independent Consultant. and I'm happy to help you today.

    I will suggest that you do a procedure on your console, it will not delete any games you have on your console, however it will require you to enter your accounts again on your console.

    Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

    Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console Information.

    Select Reset Console.

    On the Restore console? screen, you will see three options:

    Choose the option Restore and keep my games and apps.

    After the procedure see if the problem has been fixed.

    The other option would be for you to format your console completely.

    Excuse the question but are your games saved all on the external HD or on your internal HD?

    Maybe it could be a problem where the games are stored.
