    Xbox series x menu running slow and even seems like fps is dropping in menu


    So for starters I've had my xbox series x for around 8-9 month's and I rarely use it (maybe two or three time's a month) just due to not having time to. But last night I wanted to play so I turn it on and immediately could notice something was wrong. The menu was taking longer than before to load not by much but it was still noticeable. But then when I tried to open a game it would use to open pretty much immediately but now it was taking between 10 to 15 seconds to open the game. But what was weird is that some games would still open immediately while other wouldn't. Aside from that I tried to do quick resume and when doing so it was slow and even seem like the fps was dropping in the menu(something that didn't happen before). I've already tried to power cycle the xbox to no avail. I then tried to Mac address clear it that also didn't work. I also checked for updates and the xbox is up to date. I don't know if it's something with the update or my xbox but I dont really know how to fix this or if it can be fixed so I thought I would ask for help from some of you. (Thanks for reading this long ass essay lmao)

    Sorry, brother. My Xbox 1X runs slow sometimes. Especially in the Captures menu.

    **** is unacceptable.

    But everything on the X1 seems too slow.

    From what you are describing, I think it is a "defected product". I suggest contacting the support desk, or requesting a repair.

    Hi, yes that will be so, if you bought a game for the XBOX One, it will run better on the XBOX One X (FPS and loading times) and run even better on the XBOX Series X (FPS and loading times)

    I would like you to go through the following steps to clear the Mac address and then perform a quick power cycle on your console:

    Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

    After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.

    In case the issue still persists, the next step would be to perform a reset on the console. To do so you will need to follow the steps below to perform a reset on the Xbox:

    Settings > System > Console Info > Reset This Xbox > Reset and Keep my Games and Apps.

    Note =>The "Reset and Keep my Games and Apps" option will not cause losing your games, but please be aware that you need to be completely aware of the email address as well as the password of your account before going for it because it will require you to sign in to the account.
