  1. Xbox Series X - Local cache is almost full - help needed

I made a post about this in Xbox Support, but I saw this was a common insider issue. I have know idea of I am an insider, but I thought it would be good to get some help here too. I was going to play World War Z on my Xbox Series X with a friend, but it required a 27 GB update. I also redownloaded a buggy dlc to see if it would work. Once the update finished, I began playing a couple of matches with my friend, and then this notification popped up twice: "Local cache is almost full. This can affect achievements, stats, and leaderboards. To save them, go online." I have 144 GB of storage available on the console, so I do not know why this happened. To remedy this, I did a hard reset on the console by unplugging the console for 5 minutes. This did not make an impact. I disconnected from WIFI and reconnected to no avail. I also cleared persistent storage. I am wondering if this is an Xbox issue or a game issue. I also uninstalled WWZ to see if that would make a difference. I played a different game to see if the issue persisted, but I didn't play long enough for it to occur again. I played WWZ again tonight and it did not pop up. Any reason why this is happening? I do not think I am part of the insider program. I bought the Xbox Series X in 2022.

    Local cache is almost full

Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this Hassan

May I know if you're using an insider build / beta OS on your Xbox?
Also, when you say "I tried doing here reset several times but never work"?
Do you mean power cycling the console?
    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
    3. Plug the console power cable back in.
    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    If yes try factory resetting

the console but keeping games and apps

Go to settings > system > console info > reset and then select keep my games and apps

PS: you need to register the accounts again. Make sure you know the email and password before that

Hello? Please, did you ever find a fix for this error? I am experiencing this same error and have made no changes to Xbox Series X. I, too, have tried all the suggested "fixes" you mentioned. If you can offer any help or suggestions I would be grateful.

    Thank you SO much!

Try reconnecting it to Xbox Live.

    That should solve it.
