    Hey,

    I'm wondering if this is an issue others are having as I cannot seem to find it mentioned anywhere. My XSX freezes for about a second or two during or right after 90% of all screenshots I take. I've messed around with settings and turned auto uploads off
    but no joy - it still happens.

    Mostly playing Forza Horizon 4 but I've tested on other games and it happens across the board.

    Edit - Just to add here and be more descriptive, Once I hit the share button on the controller the game sound will start to stutter, usually followed right after with a second or two freeze (screenshot popup on screen here) and then it goes back to normal.

    I've tried hard rebooting the console also

    Thanks for the update.

    Based on the info you’ve shared, it looks like the option to view your current background image through the background settings menu is no longer available.

    Since your original screenshot no longer appears in Captures, and you haven’t changed the background yet, your best bet now is to take a new screenshot of your Home screen while the image is still visible.

    Here’s how to save a copy of your current background:

    Go to your Xbox Home screen

    Press the Xbox button, then press Y to take a screenshot

    Go to Capture & share > Recent captures

    Upload it to OneDrive or save it to a USB drive

    This will include anything visible on the Home screen (like tiles and game icons), so it’s not a clean copy, but it’s still a way to keep a version of the background before it’s gone.

    Funny how I haven't had this issue on my xbox one x ever but when I go on my xbox series S then it just starts having the lag spike issues with my captures.

    I have been on chat trying to resolve the above issue of 20% discount/free Lovers game. The support team was not supportive, as I was told that I needed a screenshot as proof. I have answered the same questions some many times I can't remember.

    If I was suppose to take a screenshot at purchase, I should have been either warned, the confirm button automatically executed one or better yet it automatically did on view of the message. This is easy to do from a programmers perspective and also it should
    be something that is recorded on a database. Customer support tells me that it is a RANDOM selection and there is no history/database on this. Really?

    EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE VERY SCARED OF MICROSOFT XBOX LIVE PURCHASES. SCREEN-CAPTURE,SCREEN-CAPTURE,SCREEN-CAPTURE,SCREEN-CAPTURE,SCREEN-CAPTURE,SCREEN-CAPTURE.
