Xbox Series X keeps disconnecting from WiFi during gameplay

Please update your router's firmware. To do this please visit your router manufacturer's website and check for any available updates.

And then set up a static IP Address. Kindly assign a static IP address to your Xbox Series X b going to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > IP settings and set it to manual.

Next is set a manual DNS, please go to settings> network> network settings> Advanced settings>DNS Settings> Manual.

PRIMARY DNS: 8.8.8.8

SECONDARY DNS: 8.8.4.4

Kindly try a wired connection. Use an Ethernet cable to connect your Xbox Series X directly to your router. This can provide a more stable and strong connection.

Please re-pair the Controller by turning off your Xbox and the controller.

Turn the console back on.

On the controller, press and hold the pairing button (the small round button on the top of the controller) until the Xbox button starts flashing.

Press the pairing button on the Xbox Series X (located on the front of the console) to re-pair the controller.

And then update the controller's firmware. Kindly connect the controller to the Xbox Series X with a USB cable.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Accessories.

Select the controller and choose "Update."

Next is to check for wireless interference:

Other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices) could be causing interference with your Xbox controller's signal.

Please your Xbox to a different location, away from large wireless devices or metal objects. Ensure that there are no physical obstructions between the console and controller.

If the issue persist after performing the troubleshooting steps kindly use a wired connection by connecting the controller to the console with a USB cable.

This can help determine if the issue is related to the wireless connection.
