Xbox series X keeps disconnecting from internet while using Ethernet

My series X is disconnecting from the internet, it isn’t a router or internet as I’m getting signal to my laptop and other devices. Only solution is unplugging the internet from the back of the console, restarting it 3-4 times then it’ll connect back to internet. Just seeing who else is having these problems, as well as what can I do besides joining PlayStation ‍♂️

Im having the exact same issue with my Series X as DMcC1 though im using the modem/router provided by Spectrum Cable in western NY. Ethernet cable works fine on xbox one and any other device I connect it to, but when I connect it to the series X it will
connect for about 2 seconds and then disconnect and tell me i dont have an ethernet cable plugged in. It then alternates between connecting for about 2 seconds and then disconnecting for a while and then repeats the process. Wireless connection seems fine.
I guess im glad to know im not the only one.

I sympathise. Since this latest update my xbox one keeps disconnecting from the internet saying no network detected when the settings says it is. I have a series x haven't tried that yet to see if same issue .

What ISP are you with, and what's the specific brand and model of your router/modem? Does the same issue occur on both WiFi and a wired connection with an Ethernet cable?

What OS version are you currently on? Settings > System > Console info.
