    Xbox Series X issues with Unreal Engine


    Every game I play on my Xbox Series X that is based on Unreal Engine crashes. It either crashes to the OS or hard crashes the console completely off. It's ONLY games based on Unreal Engine, and I believe it's only games that say X|S. I've seen that other people are reporting this issue, but I have not seen any comments or recognition of the issue from Microsoft or Epic. Does anyone know if Microsoft is acknowledging this and if they plan on rolling out a fix for it?

    My Xbox series s has been having from the same problem and from what I’ve seen there’s really no fix for it. I would send it in for repair as soon as you can because it doesn’t seem like a fix for this issue is coming as it’s been present since the consoles release. The only games that crashed my Xbox were fortnite and the matrix demo, the only 2 unreal engine games I own and I’ve seen others only experiencing problems with titles specifically using unreal game engine.

    This has happened to me as well. Games like Halo Infinite, Jedi: Fallen Order, and Splitgate (really anything based in Unreal) cause the console to either shut the game off and return to the home screen or just completely turn the console itself off. I have not seen a fix for this issue yet and am about to send in my console for service to see if that helps.

    Two games off the top of my head are Fallen Jedi and Ascent. Every 10 minutes or less it crashes to the OS or hard crashes the Xbox.

    Games like FF15 or Shadow of War work fine however.

    Games with unreal like backbone, life is strange, and outriders all have the same strange disco lighting effect happening. Matrix crashes completely
