    Xbox Series X is getting Alpha SA features whilst unenrolled


    I started to notice that my unenrolled series x was getting access to features which were going out in the Skip Ahead builds. I started off seeing the Chromium version of Edge before it was released to the production ring, I started seeing the Xbox cloud gaming features on my dashboard and inside the game pass app as recently as the 29th September. I’ve now got the new game activity feature in the guide.

    This console was previously enrolled in Alpha Skip Ahead but I unenrolled around about April. I’ve tried factory resetting the console from the settings app and I have tried to reset using the latest production OSU recovery. Is there anything I can do to try and fix it? I’ve already gone into the insider hub and unenrolled my console from all previews, which didn’t really help

    I’m currently on the production release of 22000.2655 with a shell version of 2110.0.2110.13002

    At this point in time, the shopping cart feature has been removed. I am in Alpha SA ring on my X and Alpha ring on my S. Just double checked the store and it is not there at the moment.

    Just not been an issue with my original Xbox one, Xbox one S or Xbox one X. My S is in alpha and X is in alpha SA.

    Yes I am I’m an alpha member I only had one friend that was also in alpha and I was trying to get a hold of him but he’s no longer in Alpha he’s in Delta now he got tired of the constant updates so he unenrolled Alpha

    Why even with automatic updates off is there so many forced updates in the Delta ring of the Insider Program?

    Avatar (beta) is Alpha SA, Alpha, Beta and Delta subset at this point in time

    HELP I Have un enrolled from skip ahead alpha but can't get out 1 week later?

    If you have unenrolled from the Alpha or Alpha Skip Ahead, the console will be marked in the Microsoft database for unenrollment.

    However, if the System wasn't factory reset, the Alpha/Skip Ahead Software is still installed.

    You might have to download an
    OSUDT to an USB stick     and do a factory reset with a fresh system install from USB.

    Klick on the link above and follow the instructions for updating your console offline (the tile on the right).
