Xbox series X is crashing games and eventually the system

My series x is unable to play any games for any length of time. The game eventually crashes and with enough attempts the system crashes and the console reboots. It happens on both disc and downloaded games but i seem to be able to play via the cloud. Ive tried

Redownloading games

Redownloading my profile

System reset

Offline updating using OSU1 via memory stick

- this worked for abit but then reverted back after 24 hours.

Need help!

Hello Jon, I'm really sorry this is happening to your console, and I also see that you've already tried most of the procedures we could recommend.

However, is your console plugged directly into a wall outlet, or is it hooked up to some kind of surge protector or surge protector along with other equipment?

thanks for the reply, I know im running out of options but sending it too Microsoft is very expensive. I live in England and my console is plugged directly into the wall outlet

Hello again, that's what I was going to mention, from the description of everything you've already done, I was going to suggest that you send it to Microsoft.

nope, most if not all current games on xbox one will be playable on the series x, eventually there will be games release just for the series x and they wont be playable on previouse console versions.

Xbox one s and Xbox one X are the same family, series x will be the new console and eventually (a couple of years down the line hopefully) games will only be release on the series x family so the xbox one x will not be able to play them.
