    Xbox Series X input Voltage

I am moving to Japan from the UK, I wanted to know if the Xbox series X is multi voltage or will I need to get a convertor, or will I be safe just getting a Japanese plug.

    Xbox Series X in Japan

Hello, Perplexedkyle. Thanks for reaching out! My name is Lucas. I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user just like you. I'll be happy to assist you today.

The Xbox Series X is bi-voltage/multi-voltage. It supports both 110v and 220v without needing a voltage converter. I'm just not sure if the US energy cable have the same input as the Japan ones. Maybe you would need an adapter for this, but not for the voltage.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

Can my Xbox work in Pakistan without a converter at230V

Which Xbox do you have, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X or Xbox Series X or S? Not all of them are multi-voltage. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One will need either a power converter or a power supply for your region. As for the Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Series X or S, they are multi-voltage, and should work fine with the correct power cable.

    Xbox series x europe

    Hi,

A YouTube tech channel called 'Digital Foundry' (they have a million subscribers) were invited by Microsoft back in April-March to see the Xbox Series X. The unit they saw had a multi-voltage power supply. This unit was not the final Series X though.

However, since the release of the Xbox S console, Microsoft have been equipping there consoles with multi-voltage power internal supplies, indeed, the Xbox One X has one. Multi-voltage power supplies work anywhere around the world, all you need is an adaptor
    for the plug.

It stands to reason that both the Series X and S will continue this trend. More information will be available closer to launch. I would advise to keep your pre-order.

    xbox one x ?

    Hi

The internal power supply on my Xbox One X is multi voltage and I suspect your console will be the same in you look on the serial number label on the back of the console just above where where HDMI is written you should see the input voltage of the console
    supported.
