    Xbox Series X- I have a notification for a unread chat.


    I have deleted all chats across all devices and apps. I still have 1 notification that will not go away. This happened after the recent update. It’s happened to multiple people in my friend list.

    Messaging bug?

    I encountered this bug today and I had an unread message that would not go away.

    so I clicked where it said 1 unread message and it took me to a chat (I'm pretty sure I'd already read it) and the notification went away.

    maybe this will work for you as well

    xbox game pass wont stop messages about payment. even after it is restored.

    This fix does not cover either of my xbox series x, or xbox one x. Neither of them show this path in system. no profile or notifications.

    Got notification today my Xbox Series X has been repaired and is shipping back tomorrow.

    Hopefully, they have included what the repair was when it is returned.
