Xbox Series X horizontal positioning on the opposite side (left side)

Then you can potentially damage the disc drive as it’s not designed to operate upside down, and you should not have a disc in it if you were to do that. I recommend always standing it upright for most efficient cooling.

Also, if you have endgame and want to drive a bike at a tank with C4, put it all on one side and drive one the opposite side of the tank/vehicle that the C4 is on. I.e. C4 is on right side of bike, drive on left side of tank. For some reason the C4 never
wants to do anything if its not in the right position.

Is the unit horizontal or vertical? I suggest putting slims in the horizontal position. (original Xboxes in the vertical) Also make sure the are no airflow obstructions around the sides and top or the unit.

The key though is it has to have plenty of ventilation on both sides and NOT on carpet
