    Xbox series x headset sound cuts out followed by controller disconnecting


    Hi community, I just bought a new Series X and I've experiencing constant connection loss between my wired headset (JBL quantum 100, I think) and my xbox, sometime, if I'm using the headset it even disconnects the controllers. The controllers work fine when the headset isn't connected, and the headset itself works perfectly on any other device, including my previous Series S where I used to use them.

    I've reset my xbox, power cycled, reset the controllers and Nothing seems to be working, is there a fix please? I will most likely be returning my Series X if not. Thanks!

    Just got an update for series x and xbox wireless headset (0.0.9.22) i'm not an insider. And it seems that disconnecting problem was finally fixed! i've experienced sound cut outs and disconnections too often and the worst case was fh 4. I've been playing for an hour after update and haven't experienced any issues. Before the update i can't even play 10 minutes without issues. Also it seems they reduced bass in headset so i can use standart game preset.

    XBOX Series X, newest patch....sound cuts out minutes after loading. Restart the game and it works for about 2 minutes then cuts out again. It is only the Marvel Avengers game and it is new after the Tachyon rift patch.

    Okay, so it sounds like you're being disconnected then reconnected to group chat, correct? Are you seeing anything on screen, or is the sound cutting out? If the latter, what happens when you try a different headset?

    Mine paired and worked fine for a couple hours of use but then while playing Elite Dangerous, the sound abruptly cut out and the headset lost connection and will not pair with either my Xbox Series X or my Xbox One X. It will only pair via Bluetooth with my phone and PC.

    Can't exchange them at the store because they're out of stock everywhere. Holding onto them and hoping a firmware update will come soon and fix the problems.
