    Hello everyone,

    I've been experiencing an issue with my Xbox Series X where the chat audio on my headset intermittently cuts out during gaming sessions. It's quite frustrating, especially when I'm in the middle of an intense match. The game audio works perfectly, but the chat will just drop for a few seconds and then return without any clear pattern.

    I've tried using different headsets and controllers to see if it was an equipment issue, but the problem persists. I've also checked for any system updates and ensured that my network connection is stable. It doesn't seem to be a hardware issue, but I'm not entirely sure.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem, or does anyone have any advice on how to resolve it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Will XBox Series X support external DAC/Amp hardware via USB?

    There are multiple articles stating audio compatibility via USB. If optical is necessary, there are various HDMI to optical devices available which you may need to add.

    Is the Optical Audio Adaptor for XBox 360 compatible with XBox One?

    The usb part will not work with xbox one yet....the only way to do chat inside a current headset is to splice the wires coming out of the included chat headset (requiring cutting/soldering etc.). Sounds like the game audio is using RCA plugs, not sure if
    there is an hdmi or optic converter for rca jacks.

    This is a really strange issue. It's almost acting like the adaptor is behaving like the chat headset that comes with the box (or that the controller is seeing it that way), in that when the standard headset is plugged in, the chat audio cuts out in exactly

    The OFFICAL Wireless Xbox Headseat is CHAT ONLY. There is no way to get game audio out of the headset.

    [PC] Xbox Wireless Headset + Dolby Atmos = Audio Stuttering

    I am also experiencing audio cut out/ stuttering. I have narrowed it down to the adapter that I am using (Windows 10 Adapter for controller). I have an Xbox Series X where I can play Warzone as a comparison. I do not get the same audio cuts outs playing on Xbox as I do on PC playing Warzone and when I disable Dolby Atmos on PC the cut out stops completely.

    From what I can tell this is a support issue of the adapter to deal with the increase data to the Xbox wireless headset..... just my findings.
